  Name: Arru

Species: Wolf/? Mix

Personality: Arru is a creature with a devious little mind. He, when angry, isolates himself to plot. If he has a motto, it'd be "Revenge is sweeter than chocolate"

Likes: Getting away with anything, gullible animals {he enjoys that} , Food, getting adrenaline rushes doing exciting and dangerous activities.

Dislikes:  Getting caught, being enclosed {a bit claustrophobic} being underground, his own blood.

Background: {Scientist speaking from the future, you are reading his record log..}

I see you've come to hear Arru's story. I am not going to disappoint you, here it is. Arru was born on February 29, 2093. {For those who may not know, that, February 29 only happens every four years- it is a leap year} His mother was a wolf mix, his father, a full bred wolf. He had never met his mother, she had died giving birth to him. Raised by his father's pack, he was your average looking wolf. The Pack lived in a dome located on the laboratory's grounds. You see, we captured them to bring the species numbers up. In this time, there are almost no wolves left. A great War occured {and is still going on.}, and now the areas in which they used to live are pits of dirt, broken trees, and rivers that were dried out. We found a male and female wolf, which inspired us to bring the species numbers up. They quickly bonded, the pair were probably in the same Pack to begin with. The female became pregnant, and after two months, {the normal wolf gestation period} a young male was born, sadly, the mother was killed during his birth. The other staff members and I were quite disappointed, hoping for a litter of two or more, but were at least glad to have one pup to work with. The little "spitfire" was always trying to attack his fathers tail. His father was not very tolerant, and Arru would be punished accordingly.

                                                                                 -------

Arru had his first check-up today. We had to shoot down his father with a tranquilizer dart, for he surprisingly became aggressive when we arrived. While he was sedated, we went in, and grabbed the pup. Arru did not like the cage. He kept thrashing and yelping. The crew and I thought the small plastic cage would break. Once he was set on the vet table, he looked curious, and thrilled to be let out. When the veterinarian came in, and started examining his big blue eyes, he snapped at her. Her thumb bled, and an vet assistant came in. He was given a muzzle, and we had to hold him down. He growled even through that. After a struggle, he was given all his shots.

                                                                                    -------

I have been observing Arru. When he is punished for pouncing on his father's tail, he now fights back. Yesterday after the vet appointment, he bit his father's ear, and almost ripped it off. We had to get Arru out, and tie him in the holding cells. Our holding cells are like a kennel, except we have a long pole in the back to tie the animal to. That way, if anyone needs to check on them, they are able to open the doors. Arru did not like the chain, and kept chewing it. He broke one tooth, but thankfully it was only a baby tooth.

                                                                                  --------

I have not been writing. Last week the laboratory was bombed. As I've said, the War is going on still. Arru's father was killed. Arru broke three ribs. We found him lying in a bloody heap in the corner. We thought he was dead, but he was alive, barely. We called the veterinarian over, and we were instructed not to move him until she came. Once she did, she was able to slide him into a crate, and we put him in the back of my truck and drove to the office. He was X-rayed and that's when we found out about the ribs being broken. He was kept in their basement, locked up so he couldn't move and hurt another bone.

                                                                                  -------

Ring. Ring. I recieved a call. The vet called me to come over immediately. I was in horror to see his fur had taken on odd colors, and the animal they had fed him, {he was given a live chicken} was completely shredded. I questioned her, what happened? She had no idea, she came up in the morning and this is how he was. I took him home to the lab, let him loose in the Pack Dome. He destroyed almost everything in there almost completely smashing the glass around the dome. It had a crack. A very large one at that. We had it repaired, and he was let in.

                                                                                   ----

Arru escaped. The glass was shattered last night, and he was gone.
